Having felt sorry myself all week and wondering how long it would take for the next cycle, look who came visiting on the 18th of March 2013!

Yep! AF did.

No way – you say?

Yep – did too!

Do you feel how excited I am yet?
But wait! a little panic as my buserelin injection class is not till thursday the 21stof March 2013. And my Buserelin is not due for delivery until the 21st of March 2013 as well.

I quickly ring the IVF centre and they are happy to move my appointment forward. I have an appointment for the 19th of March 2013. I also call the drug company and they are happy to have the delivery moved forward to the 19th as well.

I still do not believe that AF is here so fast. Clearly this means my body was truly stubborn and had not been affected by the Synarel spray as much as it should have been.

Today I went for my scan, down regulation blood test and Buserelin injection lesson.
And I am all smiles 🙂

Not about the injections, of course. But about the results of the scan and blood work.
The scan showed the endometrium thickness of just over 3mm and the nurses were happy with it. The blood work showed an estradiol level of 93pg/mL. Which shows that I can down regulate.

The lesson on injection was straightforward but I am not looking forward to sticking myself every morning with a needle, albeit that it is a relatively small gauge needle.

I am also expecting that this is where I am probably going to experience the sweats, mood swings etc, etc as I inject the Buserelin. I am then due another down regulation scan and blood work in two weeks.
Hopefully that will go well this time and my body will corporate.

I am a lot happier today today with my spirits lifted. MDH commented on the fact that I was myself again today after the awful downer of a week. And I think he is right, I feel much better.
